Delta Air Lines Customer Safety Measures

  • Testing is quickly becoming a universal prerequisite for travel. Many countries have implemented a policy of denying entry to travelers who cannot provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test. Delta wants to make it easier for all its travelers to navigate the world while understand the ever-changing regulations. They have created a map with all of its destinations and details on the restrictions in each place which can be found at the link below.
  • Delta Air Lines has developed a digital concierge to help travelers manage their bookings, schedule COVID-19 testing, and personal document verification. This will help to expedite customer service and makes things more streamlined for their travelers. The new digital concierge can be found on Delta’s website or the Fly Delta App.
  • Delta has gone above and beyond in its dedication to making sure their customers can enjoy a safe and sanitary experience both on their planes and at the airport. They have stationed teams of cleaners at over 55 airports where they operate who are dedicated to maintaining hygiene in these public places.
  • They have established rapid testing centers at several major airports in the U.S. to facilitate an easy experience for their travelers. The new rapid testing centers can be found at:
    • New York (JFK)
    • Seattle (SEA)
    • Boston (BOS)
    • Atlanta (ATL)
    • Minneapolis (MSP)
    • Detroit (DTW)
  • For those travelers interested in bundled vacation packages, Delta Vacations has implemented a policy of only offering international hotels and resorts which offer testing on-site. Delta is committed to supporting those properties which are dedicated to maintaining a clean and safe environment for its travelers.

“We want our customers to have complete confidence when traveling with Delta, and they continue to tell us that more space provides more peace of mind. We’ll continue to reassess seat blocking…while bringing back products and services in ways that instill trust in the health and safety of everyone on board – that will always be Delta’s priority”
